ABOUT
SOLODEVSTACK
A site for developers shipping alone.
WHAT THIS IS
SoloDevStack is for one specific person. The solo developer competing with teams. The indie hacker shipping after the day job. The engineer who wants someone else to have already tried the trade-off before they pick a stack.
Three things live here. A blog with honest stack comparisons and workflow write-ups. Hearth, a desktop app you'll be able to download directly from this site. And a set of toolkits for shipping after hours, building agents, publishing on Amazon, and more.
No theory, no thinly veiled product marketing, no affiliate spam. Just the actual stuff that worked.
HEARTH
A privacy-first Life OS desktop app. Journal, tasks, and notes that live entirely on your machine. No cloud, no telemetry, no AI quietly reading your data. The opposite of every productivity tool shipping in 2026.
Built on Tauri and Rust, with React on the front. A few years of nights and weekends went into it. The goal was something a solo dev would actually trust with what they write down at the end of a day.
Direct download lands here once a few signing and packaging steps are done. If that sounds like the productivity tool you've been wanting, keep an eye on this page.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Receipts-first toolkits for solo developers. Every one is the exact method behind a real shipped result, not theory. All available through the Whop storefront.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND ON THE BLOG
WHO RUNS THIS
SoloDevStack is run by Kevin Gabeci, a solo developer shipping indie products on nights and weekends. Everything on this site is something he's used, built, or wrestled with personally. If you want the full bio, the portfolio is one click away.
